Additions to the tourniquet cuff range

Customer demand has led to three new items being added to Anetic Aid’s range of Six-use Day Tourniquet Cuffs

The first is a conical cuff - for use on legs in adult patients, particularly in knee replacement, where a larger leg is more conical in shape. This style of cuff contours more closely to the patient's limb - aiding an effective tourniquet block. Another addition to the range is a narrow gauge arm cuff (460mm x 75mm instead of the usual 460mm x 100mm) - particularly valuable in surgery involving elbows where surgical and tourniquet space clashes. There is a similar gauge for the smaller leg (610mm x 75mm) where the surgeon requires greater access and the narrower cuff facilitates this.

As with previous cuffs, the new range is lightweight and latex free with secure fastenings that eliminate roll or twist. They have a slim, low profile design and are produced in colour-coded sizes.

Anetic Aid is also continuing to offer a special deal to provide hospitals with state-of-the-art, electronic or pneumatic tourniquet systems when they sign up to purchase a regular supply of the multi-use day tourniquet cuffs.

The number of tourniquet systems included varies, depending on the quantity of cuffs to be purchased and the duration of the contract - one, two and three year options are available.

The scheme was developed by Anetic Aid as a way of helping departments to gain access to the most modern and efficient tourniquet systems - without the capital outlay.
